At this size you stop being a small order. A full load lands at the rate you negotiated rather than the rate you’re offered, and the difference across a season is not small. It also means fuel security — when supply gets tight or the road cuts, you’re not the operation ringing around.

The RapidPlas 10,000L Diesel Storage Tank is rotationally moulded in one piece from diesel-grade with extra thick walls, UV-stabilised polyethylene. At this capacity the case for poly over steel gets stronger, not weaker: there’s nothing inside to rust, so no scale breaking away and travelling into a common-rail system. There are no welds or seams because it’s moulded as a single piece. And it’s substantially lighter than steel, which shows up both in freight and in what you need on site to place it.

Fuel draws from a 50mm low-level outlet with a lockable ball valve and camlock — gravity feed it, run it to your own transfer pump, or lock it off. It fills through a 50mm anti-splash, anti-static line with a non-return valve, and the level reads from the ground.

Ten thousand litres is a lot of fuel to let water into. The lid is poly welded shut, so there’s no cap to be left off after a fill and no seal to perish. The vent sits on a 300mm riser, above splash height.
